than maybe I can just get past that awful heatsink and move on to numbers
Yeah 564 core is the best I've been able to get thus far, plus on a normal afternoon the thing will hit 85C...too hot for me..gonna have to wait until water cooling to really crank it.

plus eVGA always has their step up program. Send in the 6600GT and get a 6800GT and pay the diff :D

Here's my record (cut down version) of my stock and best results on various benchmarking programs. I've recorded a bunch of different tests and whatnot, but this is the highest under stock and OC'd conditions:

3dmark03
Stock @ DDR400 @ 2.5GHz - 71.84 Drivers- 7663 - 3dmark03(Build 360)

564/1101 @ DDR400 @ 2.5GHz - 71.84 Drivers- 8615 - 3dmark03(Build 360)

3dmark05
Stock - DDR400 - 2.5GHz - 71.84 - 3312 - 3dmark05

564/1101 - DDR400 - 2.5GHz - 71.84 - 3796 - 3dmark05

Aquamark3
Stock @ DDR400 - 2.5GHz - 71.84 - 49,494 - Aquamark3

564/1113 @ DDR400 - 2.5GHz - 71.84 - 53,192 - Aquamark3

With water cooling I know that core will go higher, maybe 600...to go well past 600 would require a gpu volt mod.

Once again everybody bashing the XFX, well you knew the only person on this board who has a "working" XFX Geforce 6600gt card would have to speak up. ACE NO Money stick with this card! It's a great card, are you sure you have the right drivers installed? I had trouble finding them when i first picked up the XFX, also have you called XFX customer support line(i think it's on their website) Anyways just to show my support for XFX here's two links you XFX bashers might find interesting.....
