Which is a better purchase? PIII 1.1 or Celeron 1.4?

I'm upgrading my cpu. I have a socket 370 and have to stay at or under 100mhz bus.

My highest options are PIII 1.1 ghz, 256 L2 cache, 100mhz fsb or Celeron 1.4 ghz, 256 L2 cache, 100mhz fsb.

Any opinions?

I would get the PIII and overclock it.

As The Major said........just get a huge fat HSF and sqeeze some juice out of it!

Yip celerons have very little l2 cache a overclocked p3 would do way better than the 1.4 celeron

Great, now you're going to make me ask how to overclock. I started searching on it yesterday but found a tutorial that just confused me.

What heatsink should I get that won't bust my wallet to overclock the P3?
