Default Better option?

Is it better to buy one 160 gb hd or buy 2 80 gb hds and raid them?

How exactly do you raid hds?

Depends if you you need 160gb of storage, because if you can survive on 80gb, you can mirror them and they will be in a raid working together and make it much faster.

I suggest get two 36GB 10000RPM Serial SATA Raid HDD. If you want speed, if you need memory you can always get a external 40GB drive for around 50$.
Finished With TF.
