Default better?

whats better Evga nvidia 6800 or a ati visiontek x800? theyre like the same price. but people keep refereing to the pipelines, what better for gamming? and why are the pixil pipelines so important?

oh yeah and why do people keep telling me to get the 6800 over the 6600 gt just because it has 16 pipelines or somthing like that but the 6600gt has gddr3 and higher clocks

You can unlock the pipelines on the 6800 anyway.

the x800 will kill the 6800 in some performances + it has twice as much ram and it's got faster ram, only downside is sm2.0
Because people hate searching.
Best ram guide.
Different cpu types.
Good video card guide
