I'd suggest you get a DFI board and a 6600GT. Wait for other people to reply, they will actually give you reasons

any AGP mobo is compatible with AGP gfx cards

how much can you spend? the AV8 mobo seems ok, but both of the gfx cards you listed and shitty

256MB on video cards doens't veven matter b/c the games that actually need that much memory can't even be handled by your gfx card anyways

well i cant spend much cuz the whole comp needs to be about 900-1000
i need graphics for games like battlefront, KOTOR2, galaxies, AVP2, CS and stuff liek that, not interrested in games like doom3
k foudn these other ones id be able to add to the comp...

get a dfi lanparty ultra-d with a 3200+, 450W modstream, 1GB twinmos ram, evga6600gt, 80GB SATA HD, and some mediocre optical drives and just select a case and that should be around you budget.

just go:

AMD64 venice 3000+
dfi lanparty ultra-d
1gig of twinmos ram
eVGA 6600GT pci-e
NEC 3510A dvd-rw
OCZ modstream 450W (520 to be safe)
any case you want

that's a much better build, going AGP right now is dumb b/c you can get pci-e for almost the same price
