Default which is better?

i'm helping a friend shop for a new graphics card (he has integrated graphics on an 865g mobo)

anyways, he wants to pay around $200

which is better? a 256mb 9600xt? or a 128mb 9800pro?

As it's already been stated, 9800 pro, but I'll just add that right now it's a great card for the money.
