Default Best Resolution

From my specs what do you think would be the optimal monitor resolution for me (e.g. running games at the GPU's best potential without having to tune graphics settings down because the resolution is to big),

CPU: i5 2500k 3.30GHz,

GPU: Gainward GeForce GTX 460 "Golden Sample" 1024MB GDDR5,

RAM: 4gb @ 1333MHz, Dual Channel,

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Default Re: Best Resolution

There is no best resolution. There is the best fit for you and the size that your monitors can handle. Your GFX card can handle anything you want to throw at it so now it comes down to you finding the size that best fits you. Not a single person in the world can tell you what is right for you. I know people who still love 600X480 while I am not happy with 1920x1650 resolution. find the size that is right for you and find a monitor that can handle that size. The one where the text is the right size and icons are just big enough not to annoy you. No one on this site can answer this for you.
