Default Best Nvidia graphics card?

I have used ATI cards for a long time, and have never used an Nvidia card. Who is the best manufacturer of Nvidia cards and what is the best one they make? I am looking for one camparable to the Radeon X800 XT. Thanks.

Are those not all the same card by different manufacturers? Why is there a difference of over a hundred dollars for the first and last one you listed?

the Ultra is the better of the 6800's, and that last one is an Ultra, hence why it is more expensive

here is a GF 6800 Ultra for $539

If got one of them I'd get EVGA 6800 GT which comes with Farcry ! I would then overclock it moderatly to near 6800 Ultra speeds .

EDIT: Does EVGA make good video cards in you guys opinion ?

Do what Northbridge said. If I could have afforded it, I would have gotten a 6800GT instead of this X800 Pro.

Yeah, if I build a PC with the next couple of months ... IF ( my parents will hardly ever let me spend my own money that's in a bank) so anyway I would get a GT because it performs on par with an X800 Pro and it has Shader 3.0 .
