Best Notebook Processor

I am wondering which is better, amd or intel(for laptops) and which one would be best for business type use(taxcut, other programs like it) and websurfing and just day to day stuff(like checking email). i'm looking at the 2 Ghz mark, so around there would be good, but i don't know which one to get(cpu wise)
