You should try 1680x1050, it's orgasmic!

I've tried on models up until last year and it's still no wherenear the acceptable levels that are associated with CRT monitors. I haven't seen the new generation but from what I've read it's still not there. Plus the refresh rates are still lacking.... and 1280x1024 max.... eww 2048x1536... thats where it's at.

I like LCDs for when I'm programming though... especially when I need to have a bunch of reference manuals out.

res @ 1280x1024 is perfect, ne more n i wouldnt be able to see nething

WOW, thanks for all the responses everyone. I have till the last day of february to get the screen at this price, then the mail-in rebate expires. I will decide by then. Ghosting is really the only thin i am worried about. I usually set my screen resolution to 1024x768 when doing work, and would like to go a lot higher when gaming but 1280x1024 is pretty good. I like LG as a company and never knew they made BenQ products.

thats a reeeally good monitor....i know someone who has a 19" benQ flat panel lcd.. its really nice.. especially with the ultra slim bezel design.
