Default BenQ LCD monitor: Opinions

What do you all think of this display?
http://www.benq.ca/Products/LCD/ind...=specifications
I can get it for $509 + tax (CAD) then $50 rebate.

Opinions please.

Awsome response time and pretty decent contrast ratio and brightness.
Price; lets see 459 canadian is about 360-370 something US.

Sounds pretty good to me.

Yeah, definitely a good deal. Most 19" LCD's now are $600 minimum, especially with that response time and contrast. For sure, snap that baby up.

Wow, VERY nice, some people on these forums drop 700USD for a LCD with 16ms response, nice catch!

The BenQ are some of the best LCDs you can get for response times but remember the best response times in LCDs so far are no where near that of CRT monitors so if you're planning on doing some action gaming (FPS/racing/sports) don't bother you'll still get ghosting effects no the best of the LCDs.

Yeah, nice stuff. Dont forget you can get a damn good CRT for that much money. Something like this. Just another option.

Not true at all. You will get no ghosting what so ever with a 16ms response time. This is old school thinking that you can't game with an LCD. Those days are over. Get in the now!
