beeping noise from mobo??

when i first booted my new rig i heard a beeping noice, everything powered up, except my keyboard and the monitor gives no display. so i turned it off. and read the end of the manual for trouble shooting. and it said to clear the Cmos. so i did. rebooted again and still i got the beeping noise. im sure everything was connected right. what could be wrong???

Did u change anything before this hapend or is this a new build?

unplug ur keyboard..maybe it helps
check ur RAM if its seated correctly

its a new build the ram is sitting right cuz the white clips are on it

Just try reseating your mem and your vid then try again if not it's another problem.

damn dude putting these damn clips on the mem stick is a pain in the ass.

alright i took out everything( cd rw dvd drive and hard drive, and reset my mem stick and vid card( reseated them) and i only got one beep and i waited for another and i got nothing.

reset your BIOS.

I would suggest a full update of the bios, it may be conflicting with your hardware and may require one. As an extra percosion check all your pins and see that their not bent, if they are theres your problem.

What kind of beep? A simple short little beep or a long beep? Does your computer POST at all at this point or is it still not POST'ing?
