Battery Help

I have an Emachines M6805 laptop. When I have the laptop running on AC power (plugged into the wall) my battery still goes down. Some times it charges part way then starts to drain the battery back down some times it charges all the way up and stays there for a while. I have tryed to dim my screen, disconnect USB devices everything and again sometimes it works some times it does not. Can anybody please help me?

try to do a battery recalibration (let the battery die and recharge it completely) and do it 2 or 3 times....Try a different batter from the same model of laptop if you know anyone who has the same model...or just spend the $80 and get a new battery

I have tryed that, well it does that automaticly by it's self. It has died about 4 or 5 times now. Is there anything else that I could try that has todo with the laptop its self?

check with any battery store, such as Radio Shack, and see if they can order you a battery or fix it themselves (the battery).

Otherwise, call or email Emachines tech support.
