Well, I just upgraded my PC:

athlon XP barthon 2800+
abit NF7-M motherboard
512Mo RAM
Windows XP pro

Well, here's my problem: my system crashes VERY easily (opening an MP3file, launching internet explorer)

I think it might have to do something with my power supply(350W) and I way have screwed up some wirings...

can somebody please help me?

Thanx for your advice...
You're probably right for my PSU
I'll try it right away :bald:

my RAM is corsair brand, as I was already aware of the problems with generic RAM.

everything worked perfectly in the end, I just bought a new 550W PSU, and tried it with AND without changing the CPU & RAM voltages, and it is true that with the system default settings, it all is more stable (plus: with the voltage modifications , my CPU got clocked down to 1250MHz!).
Now, only one new problem occured, which is quite minor:
when I restart my system, the bios freezes right between Primary & sec. Masters & slave detection and CPU clock detection, for a couple of minutes (however, it goes VERY fast when I just boot it up, without restarting from the OS) :beard:
