Bad Benchmarks

Hey, i recently downloaded 3Dmark2003...
i checked online, people are getting anywhere from 7000-over 10000 with hardware that doesn't really even compare to mine...
i got a score of 1988, what gives... can anyone help me out? perhaps win2k could be a problem for gaming?..

You must be looking at other people's scores for 3dmark 2001, since the highest score ever posted for 3dmark 2003 is under 10000 and that's with a P4 @ 3810MHz and a highly overclocked FX5900. About 2000 for a stock FX5600 in 3dmark 2003 seems a bit low, but it's nothing to be too concerned about. 3dmark isn't exactly the most trustworthy benchmark on the planet

erm, sorry paradox, i didn't mean to.. was tired and started halucinating... never again

by the way, i was expecting a few more feedbacks, if anyone has more opinions... tomorrow 29th, i'm installing xp, so we'll see what happens with a clean install of that, wish me luck, i know i pieced this thing together right and it should have a better performance for what i put in it
