Default avi burning question?

I was wondering is it possible to burn an avi video onto a cd and watch it on my xbox as a dvd. Cause I have another dvd player that plays dvd/cd and vcd and svcd. But I wanna watch a video in my bedroom where my xbox is. And I know its possible to burn a video to a blank dvd and watch it on my xbox so I was just wondering if I can do it for a cd. Alright thanks to whoever helps.

why not just try it? :P

depends whether the blank dvd was used as a data DVD disc or an actual DVD disc.

if data then its all good, if its a DVD Video then you will have to create a VCD

no, it won't work unless the xbox is modded and has a media centre application. natively the xbox can only play WMA files (format that ripped CDs are stored as on the xbox), DVD video and CD audio.
