Default avg 2.0 and nvidia cards

i am looking on ebay for a new nvidia card and on the specs it says that you need a agp 2.0 or higher slot on you mobo cause it won't fit on earlier versions. how do i find out what version agp i have on my mobo or can someone just tell me is the asus p5p800 is agp 2.0

It should be but check. Get Motherboard Monitor 5 - just search it on Google. That should tell you.

You have AGP 8x.


A simple google search would of told you.


btw. What card are you looking at? As we can recomend on a better buy for your money.
