I upgraded in October with the following:

MOBO- EPOX nFORCE2 EP-8RDA+ RTL
CPU- AMD 2500/333 ATHLON XP BARTON R
DDRAM 512MB PC-2700
POWER SP- AGPB-P4ATX35F 2F 350W RT

Had problems with EPOX nFORCE2 EP-8RDA+ MOBO from start, and it finally died in December.(lost all USB, P/P, corrupted system yada yada). Funny several people in Forum did have reservations about this MOBO when I asked for upgrade advice.

Returned to Newegg for replacement but was informed this MOBO sales were discontinued which may have been blessing after all my problems.

Anyway I replaced it with the DFI nForce2 Ultra 400 Chipset Motherboard for AMD Socket A CPU, Model "NFII ULTRA INFINITY" on tech friends advice.
Seems like a good replacement but have lost audio. It worked on installation and I reloaded drivers. I'm pretty sure it's something I did or didn't do in setup but probably later after XP reinstall. I did reformat and reinstall drivers. Being unfamiliar with MOBO I think I have wires crossed or misplaced because I get feedback when touching, there are audio imputs on two boards.
Any ideas?

Sorry, but I'm color blind and friend noticed a green plug in a yellow imput. Color coding is great if you can use it. Guess I never thought about color impairment, Ha.
