Audigy SB 2ZS platinum

Recently upgraded sound card from Sound Blaster Live! to Audigy 2 ZS platinum.

SB live! had a large volume bar which appeared only, for a few seconds, when master volume was changed from the keyboard

However, I have tried to reproduce this useful volume indicator in Audigy 2 ZS platinum and can find no way of doing so.

This means that I have no idication of the volume level which makes life difficult, The volume is still changed from the keyboard.

So far, I can't get proper assistance from Creative, so any help gratefully received.

why do you need the volume bar? cant you just go by how loud your sound is?
