yes, someone either tried hacking you or tried sending you a virus through an open port of yours thats not so open.

Why is this in the Hardware forum? Shouldn't it be in the Virus Forum, or at the least, in the OS forum?

Did you contact the mods/smods/admins about this?

Clean yer machine up. Even if it's one of those spoof pop-ups, it can't hurt to take this time to check yer security out.

It is probally nothing, I don't know if this still happens but sometimes they go off when you go onto a site, when no one is trying to hack you or send a virus.

I would also get rid of anything which contains the word Norton, try zone alarm, or no firewall (well no software ones, they annoy me hardware all the way :P .)

Go to the hacker's house, I think it's in Texas, knock on his door, beat the crap out of him, steal his computer. If he has a wallet, take that too.
