attempted to clean my keyboard, outcome; notsuccessful

well here goes

i had some dirt in my keyboard, probably food, i removed the shift button, cleaned it, now my shift button doesnt work, im guessing i didnt attacth it back togeather right ;9

its a duo mx 700 logitech itouch
dear god someone help me plz
its a hsift button with a piece of little metal

It sounds to me like your metal bracket is not in the slot. Maybe this picture will help.
