Default ATI Visiontek 9200 xtacy or Nvidia geforce 5200 FX

Which would be better? Nvidia geforce 5200 FX g-card, or ATI visiontek 9200 Xtacy. Planning on OC'ing whichever people tell me is best, i have botha nd need to know which is better.

You should get one of the new generations.
ATI is releasing a new card with Hyper memory for $59 (x series)
Nvidia already has a card named the 6200TC
Both are just as cheap if you look in the right places.

5200 is complete crap. ATI pretty much owned nvidia with the 9xxx series against the nvidia FX series. I know this first hand. I have an FX 5700, two friends of mine have the 9600XT and it destroys mine performance wise.

Out of those two definitely the ATI, but turtile makes a valid point, but seeing as how you said you already have them and not buying I guess it doesn't matter

There is a huge difference between PCI and AGP.

Use the geforce 5200 if it's agp,it will work better then the 9200 pci card.

stick one in, benchmark it with 3dmark 01SE or 03 then unistall it and try the other, thatll tell u which is better. But as shumway sed the fact the 9200 is pci really does limit it.

The PCI interface of the Radeon 9200 does limit the performance.
