Ok, here is the deal. You probably have a bad memory chip on the video card and this is causing your video card to get real hot. You may want to get it exchanged. One other thing, make sure all PCI cards are one or two slots away from the AGP slot to give the video card adaquet cooling. Having a PCI card right next to the AGP slot will smother your video card. Right now ATI is besting nVidia in alot of benchmarks so keep the ATI card just swap it out for a good one.
