Just that i am not sure if i can slip 200$ canadian into my buget for
a graphics card. And how long till you think the prices will drop?

ive heard a new card is coming out soon, they'll be sure to drop then.
I prefer Radeon's
the 9600 Pro/XT performs best for its money, and it's full DX9 support.
IMO ATI > Nvidia

if you haven't got a lot of money to burn the Radeon 9200 Pro/XT MIGHT be able to play HL2, not a guarantee, and you won't have it as long bfore you upgrade again

Hey what about the fact that he was usin a 8mb video card. I'd think that a computer with that, unless some one built it themself, wont beable to handle a 8x agp graphics card. what kinda mobo you got in your comp and what kinda slots does it have in it
