Default ATI Catalyst 9.9 Drivers

ATI Catalyst 9.9 Drivers

AMD has just released new ATI Catalyst 9.9 drivers for Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP and Linux. The new drivers fix a host of game specific issues and a handful of hardware problems in addittion to a performance boost. The new 9.9 Catalyst drivers also add support for openSUSE 11.1. Grab them if you need them.

Hopefully this is finally a stable effing CCC for my system. 9.8 didn't work worth crap, so I rolled back to 9.7 which works but has a ton of issues. It is nice that they keep updating frequently...but ****, just hook it up with a solid one every once in a while.

The 4850 can be a finicky card at times. From what I remember most of the changes helped the previous gen cards. TT was only testing the 4850, 4870 X2, and 4890
