Which ATI Card is better?

OR

ATI Radeon 9600 XT 128MB DDR, AGP8X DVI TV-Out

Now keep in mind that these two prices are Canadian. Anyway, which is the better value? The Saphire has twice the RAM, but for some reason it is 100 bucks less. Which card is the better deal? Will the XT give me a ton of added performance?

This will be going onto a P4 3.06G system with hyper threading enabled...if that makes any difference.

Ok the xt is = to the 9700 pro i think or the 9700 so i would go with the xt the xt gpu is way better and all that extra video ram doesnt do much

hmm... an interesting problem. The extra memory won't really help you right now, but it will someday. The price on the 9600 is good, but I'm guessing it's not the pro version. You should go with the XT if you can afford it, it's a much better performer. Also, you should be able to get the 256 MB version of the XT for $222 CND ($165 USD) on Pricewatch.com
