ATI 9600XT vs Nvidia GF'S

I am buying a new videocard and am curious to know what you think I should get for a new videocard? Heres are the catches I have only $130 and am going to a lanparty on Friday once again. So I don't have much time to wait and save up. What are your opinion?

If you can find the 9600XT for $130 bucks, I would go with that.

Yeah a 9600XT is your best bet, 130$ is a bit high for it, but your not going to have it in 2 days if you order online

Yeah a store buy me has one for $90 OEM, so I'm gonna buy it, it's a Sapphire 9600XT 128MB, plus my friend works there, so I can get a $15 price reduction probably. But I have $130 to spend and figured that might be a good deal.

I just talked to my friend and he says he'll get it for me at $75 and then I'll pay him when I see him

If you have $130, just save $60 more and get the 6600 GT. You will really be glad you did.

Dude I running a GeForce3 for god sake and it won't be able to play doom 3 worth a shizzle. and I am not missing a deal like this. I'll get the 6600GT later, say about 2 months, if needed.
