ATI 4850 can't get tv to duplicate monitor

I want same image on the tv as monitor but when I tell it to duplicate it gives me a error pop up.

CCC is updated.

Cables are connected.

Monitor is connected by DVI and working.

TV is connected by S-video to S-video cable and is detected (not forced) but no image.

Do both screens have the same resolution? That may be the issue.

I can only set the monitors resolution (it's set to 1280x800 75hz) both are widescreen.

LG 23inch monitor LG 42 inch TV


Did some more google'ing and it seems windows 7 (just updated to it) might be the issue. Something about Windows key + P -> duplicate might work but I moved the tv back to were it was and ordered some long *** cables so I'm going wait a few days before trying it.

Got the new cables but I still can't get it to duplicate.



Windows key + P -> Projector only works for now but the computer monitor is disabled I really want it duplicate b/c I can't see the tv were the keyboard/mouse I gota Windows key + P -> Computer only (left arrow 3 times then enter) to see what I'm doing.

Anyone got another idea I could try?


/edit to clarify CCC says TV, S video Disabled I can't seem to get it enabled.
