Athlon

Ok, it seems as if the Athlon XP wontbe around much longer. I plan on getting a 35 watt Mobile XP, and watercool it to 2.6 ghz at least. Paired with an Abit AN7, what kind of perfomance can I expect compared with a 2.3 ghz Athlon 64 3400? All other components will be the same.

Also, any other motherboard ideas? I do not know much about socket A boards, and any advice will be appreciated.
