Athlon 3200 VS athlon 3500

Do you think the 3500 is worth the extra money for performance?

they both will OC to about the same speeds and you can't feel the difference between the extra 200mhz

you can just overclock to the point where you get 10fps

not necessary to get a better CPU

i'd rather have a 3200+ and those dfi lanparty ultra-d OCZ ram and a zalman 7700-cu fan to play with rather than a very expensive FX-55

it is BS, but it gets the point across that even the "lower end" AMD CPUs are better than most of Intel's stuff

With CS:Source and HL2, processor is almost all that matters. I ran HL2 and CS:S with a P.O.S. GeForce2 64MB.

I would get the 3200 and OC it. Not worth to get a 3500.
