Asus P4P800-E Deluxe... Your thoughts?

can i ask what people thoughts are on the Asus P4P800-E Deluxe

is this worth its money
is is any good etc

Well its not a LGA775 mobo, its a 478. If you want a good Intel mobo/cpu, then you need a LGA775. I dont recommend getting it.

Yea if you want LGA775 then you want the P4C800-E Deluxe. I have it, it's a very good mobo for sure, I just thought it a bit overpriced.

ive got it, its great... there nothing wrong with 478 dont listen to them, 775 is all overpriced cpus neway

ill prob use it for work, and games.

i already have a celeron socket 478, so i need a 478 mobo
i wont be changing my processor anytime soon, and i need a better mobo, cos my SIS one is dodgey

is the P4P800-E Deluxe any good for 478?

I have the P4P800-E Deluxe and I love it. I had a 2.4GHz Celeron D in it for awhile that I had at 3.24GHz without a hiccup. Only problem is upgradeability in the future, 3.4GHz P4 is as high as your going with this Mobo, so if you want something zippier down the line, you'll need LGA775. Other than that a very solid Mobo.

non-upgradeabilitys no prob, cos if im gonna get a new processor, itll b in a few years, and itll prob be and AMD anywayz
