I have an ASUS K7N8X - E and an MSI K7N2 and I have had no problems with these motherboards. But I don't know when they were manufactured.

I've used Asus Mobo's (4) & only had 1 Die, Might have been my fault. I think I shorted it out but I got a replacement without any hastle. But like Ek says the quality on their onboard sound isn't the best. Otherwise they've been pretty reliable & I like their Utilities.
