asus a7v600\serial ata\windows install

asus a7v600
seagate serial ata
windows xp home sp1a

the main problem is that when i boot off the xp cd and it loads the setup, the setup cannot find the seagate drive
i know the drive and both sata channels are working because i can see it in the raid setup utility
i read the manual and looked through the BIOS but cannot see what i am missing
thinking that i needed to load a driver first i pressed F6 at the beginning of the xp install but the only drive it will read from is A:
the only thing that came with the motherboard was a cd

so...how do i get the windows install the see the drive?

You may need to download the sata/raid drivers (from asus website), and save them to a floppy. http://www.asus.com.tw/support/download/item.aspx?ModelName=A7V600

thanks, i actually found that on the asus site a bit ago
had to run to walmart and get a floppy
