I just installed a 100GB HD as my master drive and the old 40GB drive as the slave. All works well - it boots to the new drive and I can see everything on the slave drive. Is there a way to "run" a program that is on the slave drive? When I try to do that I get an error message and the program will not run.

programs arent just as is, they use various registry entries aswell & some even drop their dlls to the system32 folder , which is why in alot of cases you wont be able to run a program that wasnt installed using your currently installed windows

Would a program like "Application Mover" transfer the appropriate files from the slave to the master drive?

according to the program description definetly no , its intended only for programs you installed using your current windows , just get the setup files and install em
