Hey,
I have a 22" widescreen monitor(link: here), running on a X1950XTX.
I'm trying to get widescreen bars to display while playing a game that doesn't support widescreen. I previously was able to use the Catalyst control center to use centered timings on "non-native panel resolutions" whatever that means, and it worked perfectly on 1400 x 1050. Which helped me out greatly on 3 different games which allowed me to set that resolution. However this older game doesn't have said resolution (but it allows set it at 1600 x 1200, strangly enough). And I can't run the game at that resolution as the bottom part of the display goes off screen.
So i'm wondering if there's anyway I can put some widescreen bars on the sides of the screen to prevent the image from stretching across and looking absolutely horrible.
EDIT: The game in-question is Dawn of War, incase anyone has any experiance.
