though the FSB is twice as fast doesnt neccassarily mean double the performance, but devlish96 is right, this is an endless debate... true the Pentium systems are currently the fastest on the market, but not by a huge margin, and AMDs give more bang for the buck, i think we can all agree on that. Sorry for the digression of the thread, nothing is more fun than a good old Intel vs. AMD debate eh?

i have posted a new thread where we can continue this debate, you should definately go check out my link, in which a writer does a benchmark test between amd and intel, ,he goes into the test thinking for sure that the athlon will be victorious, and at the end, well you can see the results for yourself:
