Any point with the new sound card?

I'm thinking of getting a new sound card, the Audigy 2 of some sort, and i am actually wondering if it will be better than my one at the moment, (Abit NF7-S v2.0 nvidia soundstorm 5.1 intergrated), any help plz.

what sound system u have? U wont be able to tell any difference honnestly, unless u wana use optical digital sound, u need hte bay drive. But i would keep ur money, the onboard sound u have is good

yea, ur sound is fine, u wont tell any difference with the audigy 2 series.

do you use optical then because you have a Audigy 2?

yea, but i have a hometheater system connected to my pc.. thats totally different.
