its gonna die soon with the am2's. plus i thot i just read somewhere that amd fell to 20th spot in the top 20 chip makers. and intel grew 20% and stayed in first. plus intel made something like 6.5bill and amd only made 1.2 instead of their projected 2.1. i cant think of the article. i'll try and find it and get back. anyone wanna help me out?

That's strange, because I've been hearing nothing but things about how AMD is gaining market share, and doing it fast.

just curious as to what list put 18 competitors other than Intel above AMD. its basically a 2 horse race now with VIA kind of limping in behind. there is no way that AMD is going to die. it made it to this point in time through much harder problems when it didn't even have a name for itself so why would it die when it is actually popular
