What is the difference between an amd xp thoroughbred and a Barton? And which one is better? ThanKs

XP thoughobred is the core of XP processors that predecessed the Barton. Barton core is on all the newer XP chips and Barton is the better one. But more expensive.

hmmmm..........

Thoughobred has a 333mhz FSB, the Barton has a 400 (if using the right memory)

for desktop there is only 1 flavor: 333Mhz effective FSB. this version is always a barton

the mobile version called XP-m 2500 for notebook computers has a 266Mhz effective FSB. i am not sure if this is barton core or not
