Blues skies for everyone! I have a mobo asus a7v8x and i would like to put an amd athlon xp 2400+ on it (it was working with a 2000+), but when i did it, the pc just stopped immediatly. I looked up the manual and there is no section about any change the jumpers on the mobo need (the limit indication for the cpu is exactly 2400+ for my board). Can anyone tell me what i have to do? I am sure the answer is simple, but i just don't know it.
