AMD, Intel difference in $500!

doesn't seem to be anything different other than the proc. I'm an Intel fan, but i'd say save yourself the $400 and get the AMD. The 3200 is a super fast chip and should keep you up to speed for some time.

you said you're into games, and amd has always one the war when it comes to games. get the amd and use the extra $400 to keep in your wallet.

Hmm, must have made a newer, as initially it was launched as 533Bus , and No HT.

I have to confirm this with Intel.

yes there are 2 versions of 2.8E (Prescott)

1: 533 FSB without HT
2: 800FSB with HT

Yeah I was just at intel's site and i couldnt figure a thing out, nothing said about core's.

if u click P-4 with HT

there will showup a chart, and you'll see in (NO-HT) that .90 nano meter mentioned, and as its NO HT, and with 533 bus, this is what i was telling about, but at the same time I have seen the 2.8 in .90 nano meter with HT + 800FSB.

hey, wait a min, that 2.8 culd be C series.

I have to confirm if from Intel + my resources. you really made me confused.
