Based on the fact that you can see they've highlighted the "CPU #1/CPU#2" drop down box, I'm taking a wild guess and thinking it's based on a single core. I'm honestly not sure though.

Phosho510, AMD doesn't have any plans of releasing any dual core processor until the second half of this year, beginning with the opterons and then later releasing the consumer Toledo core which is what's being demonstrated here I think.

CPU-Z has already been programmed to detect multiple processors. Because if you have an Intel like me it will display two identical processors on CPU-Z because of the hyper-threading.
