Post AMD Atholon XP 3000+ (OR) Pentium4

I have salavaged another computer and I looked at the processors and thought can I switch the pentium4 oh wait better go online and check if this pentium is better than my current atholon now is it (SPECS BELOW)

DETAILED SPECS ARE ONLY ABOUT MY COMPUTER NOT THE PENTIUM 4 now you tell me keep mine or change for the pentium (if possible)

AMD 3000 runs like a P4 3.0ghz. Compare that to the 2.4 that you posted and tell me which will run better.

Stick with the AMD it seems you have a hardcore gaming pc. Sticking with the Amd will keep it that way

in short, the XP 3000+ will be better than the P4 2.4GHZ

The XP 3000+ is roughly equal to a 3.0ghz P4. The AMD is better.
