I lost my samsung remote to my tv so I can't switch between tv and video inputs. If i bought a universal remot would that be able to change it for me? If so, can someone show me some cheap ones in price that may work?

Yes, as long as it has the codes for your TV it should work. Samsung is common enough that it should.

When you find a U-controller you like just look up which codes are programmed into it. Not sure where you live but here is a link to some, Universal Remotes | One For All | United Kingdom

Like carnage said, as its Samsung I would think all U-controllers have their codes.

^ The instruction booklet that comes with the universal remote should also have a list of the codes.
