Default Ahhh DVD-RW Problems!!

Until now my Pioneer dvr-109 cd/dvd r+rw has been working fine. But when I went to burn a dvd today i kept getting a weird error, I thought it might have been my Daemon tools drive conflicting with it, so I got rid of that and it worked. But when I actually went to burn the files it says you need to insert a cd.. And now when i look in My Computer, it recognises it as a DVD-R.. not a DVD-RW meaning it wont let me burn dvds!!!!

What can I do?!?!??

how long did you have it? did you donwload the required firmware upgrade for that drive? everybody that has bought this drive had problems until they update their firmware. it also improve the speed of dual layer discs.

this tooll tell you which firmware that you have.
