i think we should ask how he intends to use the card first before we over/underestimate the price.

it'll be mainly used for games, nothing too graphical, things like WoW and BFME2.

now that we know you are a gamer we can give better suggestions . if you want to go outside of the cards mentioned in your original post i would go for a 6800gs which should last you a while. depending on how much more you are willing to spend you could get the 7800gs which will probably be the best AGP card ever made.

how would the 7800 do with high graphic games, such as bf2

u will able to play BF2 at very high setting, but also BF2 needs 2GB of ram to play smoothly

Yea, the 7800GS is top of the line in the AGP division. It will play BF2 great..
