the age old battle

i have to admit that i have blindly pledged my allegiance to intel when it comes to cpu's just for the simple fact that a while back a had a couple of problems with an amd chip. i understand that it is an ignorant thing to do and so im here asking the age old question. which one is truely better and has the most potential?

MoM is right. The answer is both and neither. The only true winner is the CPU that does the job YOU want the way YOU want. Nothing else matters. My opinion of each brand doesnt matter to you, just as your opinion of each brand doesnt matter to me. You have your thoughts on why you stay with 1 over the other, just as i do. Neither of us can win this as there is no right or wrong answer.

I am closing this thread as well. Cause all these threads do is create anomosity toward each over for things said about 1 chip or the other. It isnt worth it leaving it open just to have to clean it up and hand out punishment in a week.
