I've been looking all over the internet for some sort of affordable Hardware Random Number Generator. The ones I have seen so far have either been serial, PCI, or USB, and that's basically what I'm looking for.
Thing is, they typically cash in at several hundreds of dollars, if not thousands.
Since a simple hardware RNG can be constructed from not much more than a few scrap electrical components (resistor, capacitor, etc.), I would have thought that somewhere on the internet would be a company selling PCI or USB RNGs for cheaper prices than I've been seeing.
I would very much like to get my hands on one for research purposes. I could construct one myself, but I was rather hoping there would be an affordable one online somewhere. Has anyone heard of anything like this?
