advice? Diagnostic/Benchmark

i never used any benchmark or diagnostic softwere, i was wondering witch is the BEST for each part of the pc?

witch is best for ram, HD, GPU, etc?

if some of it is system specific, use these specs as example- ' /=or '

- P4 3.0E , pc3500/3700, GF 6800 series, WD/Seagate 200/250g SATA
- a64 939, pc3500, GF 6800 series, WD/Seagate 200/250g SATA

i was also wondering.. how are fan size's measured.. does 80mm apply the the lengh from fan blade to fan blade? or diagonal from bracket to bracket? or horizontal between brackets?

if i had a fan infront of me, i would just measure it myself, but i dont.

just get Sysoft Sandra, AIDA32, Prime95, 3dmark
