Default advertisement

so i just found this ... Introducing the Samsung T3 | Newegg.com ... in an advertisement. so how much slower would this be vs. one connected with a 8gbs sata cable? i like the idea that i could use it in both my desktop and laptop, as well as be able to take it to my brothers house easily to transfer files etc.
